English National Ballet has teamed up with Dancing Times to offer its readers the chance to win four tickets in a private box for a performance of its Ecstasy and Death programme at the London Coliseum in April. The programme includes a rare chance to see the Paris Opéra Ballet étoile Nicolas Le Riche appearing opposite Tamara Rojo in Roland Petit’s Le Jeune homme et la Mort.
To win, simply answer the following question:
What is the birthplace of English National Ballet’s artistic director, Tamara Rojo? Is it: (a) Spain? (b) Canada? (c) Gibraltar?
The programme also includes the company premiere of Jiří Kylián’s Petite Mort and a revival of the perennial English National Ballet favourite, Harald Lander’s Etudes. To buy tickets for English National Ballet’s Ecstasy and Death at the London Coliseum, visit www.ballet.org.uk.
CONGRATULATIONS to Hazel Collins of Beford, who won the competition by correctly answering that Tamara Rojo was born in Canada.
