Celebrating 60 years since The Royal Ballet was awarded its Royal Charter, The Royal Ballet The Collection is a sumptuous 15 disc set by Opus Arte, illustrating the breadth of the company’s work. The 22 ballets, filmed over the last decade, include 19th century classics such as Giselle, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty and works created for the company, from Frederick Ashton and Kenneth MacMillan to present day choreographers Christopher Wheeldon and Wayne McGregor. The set includes a special edition book with new articles and photographs.
