Michelle Williams, one of the celebrities in this year’s “Strictly Come Dancing”, has damaged her ankle after a fall in training.
Though Michelle had felt no injury at the time, she found her ankle beginning to swell overnight. When she visited the “Strictly” physiotherapist on Tuesday, he ruled out a broken bone, but x-ray results suggest ligament damage. Michelle has been told not to train until today, and to have regular physiotherapy. It’s still touch and go as to whether Michelle can dance in this weekend’s show. She is scheduled to dance with Brendan Cole, her regular professional partner this Saturday. Last week, she was partnered by Ian Waite, while Brendan returned to New Zealand for his father’ funeral.
This weekend, the 11 remaining couples will perform one of the jive, the paso doble, the Viennese waltz or the Argentine tango. The whole show will have a Halloween theme, with a specially-decorated studio, spooky music and creepy costumes.
