West Side Story released on Blu-ray

Posted on November 2, 2011

The film West Side Story is 50 years old this year.

Choreographed and co-directed by Jerome Robbins, adapted from his own stage production, the movie won ten Oscars in 1961, including Best Picture. This year, Twentieth Century Fox have released a special anniversary edition, the first to be released as a Blu-ray disc. Twentieth Century Fox have kindly given us three sets of Blu-ray discs as competition prizes. Each set includes West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof and The Sound of Music. To win, see page 7 of the November issue of Dancing Times.
