Waltz into 2013

Posted on December 21, 2012

One Night in Vienna is a new show based on the Viennese tradition of music and dance.

Based on Raymond Gubbay’s long-established Johann Strauss Gala, the new production adds showman and conductor Rainer Hersch, who will lead the Johann Strauss Orchestra and soprano Charlotte Ellett in music including the Blue Danube waltz, the “Laughing Song” from Die Fledermaus, the Radetsky March and the Thunder and Lightning Polka.

The Johann Strauss Dancers, dressed in period costume, whirl through dances choreographed by Alexandra Worrall, evoking a graceful world of billowing gowns and romantic elegance. The show tours until February 9. See for details and tickets.
