UK Fun Competition for same-sex dancers

Posted on September 14, 2011

Once again, it’s the time of year when novice competitors can take their first steps in a supportive environment at the annual UK Fun Competition at London’s Rivoli Ballroom.

The Fun Competition welcomes all starter, beginner and improver same-sex couples and the events range from ballroom and Latin to Old Time dances like the Lilac Waltz and Mayfair Quickstep. There are also fun styles like change-partner cha cha and six-legs salsa.

This year’s competition is on October 1, 2pm–6pm, followed by social dancing with Jacky’s Jukebox. To enter, download a form from the website or email for more information.
