Two more to join Strictly

kevin-Two former Burn The Floor dancers Kevin Clifton and Anya Garnis have been named as new professionals on the 11th series of Strictly Come Dancing, making the total number of dancers 15 this year.

Russian-born Latin dancer Anya is Pasha Kovalev’s dance partner. The pair were finalists several times at the US Open Ballroom Championship, before appearing in So You Think You Can Dance in the US. More recently, Anya danced in Burn The Floor on Broadway, before joining the show’s world tour.

British Latin champion Kevin is the son of world champion Latin dancers Keith and Judy Clifton, who run Cliftons Dance Academy in Grimsby, and brother of Joanne Clifton, European Ballroom champion. He tweeted: “Couldn’t be more excited to be joining my beautiful fiancée @karen_hauer and the rest of the amazing
