Tring Park

Tring Park School for the Performing Arts stands at the forefront of specialist performing arts education in the UK. Tring Park also offers a full and rounded education to GCSE, BTEC and A level (up to 24 A level subjects).  At Tring Park talented young people from 8–19 specialise in Dance, Acting, Musical Theatre or Commercial Music, whilst gaining excellent academic qualifications.  Entrance is via audition and scholarships are available for Dance via the Government’s Music and Dance Scheme. School scholarships and bursaries are available for Drama and Musical Theatre.

 

Tring Park provides ballet dancers to perform annually in English National Ballet’s Nutcracker and Le Corsaire at the London Coliseum. Six dancers have played the part of Billy in Billy Elliot in the West End and on tour, another joined the cast of Matilda in the role of Lavender and current pupil Harley Bird is the voice of the famous cartoon character Peppa Pig. In 2016 the Tring Park choir “The Sixteen” won the BBC Songs of Praise Senior School Choir of the Year and in 2017 the Tring Park Sixteen reached the Finals of BBC1’s Saturday night show Pitch Battle.  Alumni include Daisy Ridley – Rey in Star Wars; Olivier Award-winning choreographer Drew McOnie and Lily James – Cinderella and Downton Abbey.
