floridita_webThe UK Open Dance Group Championship, courtesy of Latin Pulse, comes to an epic finale at Floridita on London’s Wardour Street on Tuesday, July 19. Floridita’s Latin Pulse promises to beat more furiously than ever, as Sones de Oriente return with a new line-up and a many layered repertoire, including Cuban son, changui, trova, cha cha cha, salsa, danzon, boleros, rumba and more, all delivered with a unique contemporary twist.

There will be also be free masterclasses in “son-cha” – a mixture between Cuban son and cha cha cha – for beginners at 7pm and intermediate/advanced at 8pm. Then the battle of the dancers will commence as UK’s finest salsa teams compete for a prestigious title and cash prize.
