The Centre PAC is based in Maidstone, Kent, and delivers training of the highest calibre in dance and musical theatre. With a proven track record spanning 20 years, the achievements of our graduates are a testament to the success of our professional practical training.
Our new ground-breaking three-year course is designed to produce outstanding performers, innovative choreographers and inspirational dance teachers for learners who are passionate about dance or musical theatre but also want a more diverse and sustainable career path.
There are three specific components of the Diploma In Performance and Teaching Studies course:
The performance aspect is designed to produce highly skilled versatile performers in dance or musical theatre, who are able to compete in today’s competitive performance industries.
The choreographic element encourages learners to explore the choreographic process and develop their creative skills.
The teacher training department delivers the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing’s teaching qualifications – Diploma in Dance Education (Level 4) and Diploma in Dance Pedagogy (Level 6) – offering employment opportunities throughout the world.
