Rojo y Negro tango club is now booking for intensive workshops in London and Paris, with visits to French milongas.

Bianca and Roberto (pictured) will lead the Paris trip, which runs from February 21 to 24. There will be workshops in tango technique, dancing to milonga music, musicality, and giros. In the evenings, there will be visits to the best French milongas, and an outing to the Crazy Horse nightclub.

Workshops are suitable for all levels, with Bianca adjusting the material to suit students. They will be held at Paris-Passion, a new studio in central Paris run by Patrick Bouef. You can also book rooms in Patrick’s tango-friendly hotel, next to the dance studio – though places are limited!

Prices start at 15€ per workshop, with reductions if you book multiple workshops. To book workshops, contact Patrick Bouef at tango-paris@live.fr. There will be discounts for Rojo y Negro travellers. See Patrick’s website for more information.

In London, Rojo y Negro will hold a beginner intensive workshop at the Union Tavern on February 9, aiming to give dancers a real foundation in posture, balance, hold, walk and musicality. Places cost £45 and can be booked through the Rojo y Negro website.
