Having resigned from the Vaganova Academy, Altynai Asylmuratova has taken a job at the Mikhailovsky Theatre. In an oddly symmetrical move, another former Maryinsky ballerina, Zhanna Ayupova, will move from the Mikhailovsky to the Vaganova Academy.
