The Cottier Dance Project, a new Glasgow dance festival, launches this month with new commissions and collaborations and archive film screenings. A strand of the West End Festival, run in partnership with the Cottier Chamber Project, the festival runs at Glasgow’s Cottiers Theatre and the Grosvenor Cinema from June 22 to 27.
The Get Scotland Dancing campaign has announced its full programme for 2014, from a worldwide, 24-hour ceilidh to dance trails, festivals and dance-along screenings of movie classics.

The second New Adventures Choreographer Award (NACA) is now open to emerging choreographers of all ages. Originally established to celebrate Bourne’s 50th birthday in 2010, NACA will choose one or more winners to create a showcase of new work in 2014. The inaugural award, held in 2012, was won by James Cousins.
Nominations have been announced for this year’s Olivier awards, presented by the Society of London Theatre and supported by Mastercard.
