The Ballet of La Scala, Milan has announced its plans for the 2013–14 season. It will open on December 17 with an evening of works by Alexei Ratmansky, including Concerto DSCH, Russian Seasons and a new work. Performers will include Svetlana Zakharova, Roberto Bolle and Massimo Murru.
This July, the Moscow Stanislavsky Ballet comes to the London Coliseum with Roland Petit’s version of Coppélia. Sergei Polunin will dance Franz during the run.
Ivan Putrov will appear as a guest artist with English National Ballet next week. The London Coliseum has announced its dance performances for spring and summer 2013. The programme includes visits from overseas companies the Mikhailovsky Ballet and Boston Ballet, plus seasons by Birmingham Royal Ballet and English National Ballet.

The Bolshoi Ballet’s Ivan Vasiliev will dance Roland Petit’s Le Jeune Homme et la Mort with English National Ballet this Friday.
Dancers from English National Ballet will be dancing through the Terence Higgins Trust’s 10-kilometre Walk for Life, helping to raise funds for the HIV and sexual health charity.
From July 21–24, English National Ballet dance a programme of Roland Petit ballets at the London Coliseum. Petit, one of France’s most famous choreographers, worked in music hall and for Hollywood as well as in ballet, showing a Parisian sense of theatre and glamour.
