Hofesh Shechter Company has announced #HOFEST, a London season celebrating the range of its work. Held in September and October 2015, the season will include new works by Shechter, revivals and his first opera production.
Choreographer Hofesh Shechter (pictured) is to be the guest director of Brighton Festival 2014. Since 2009, the festival has invited artists to guest direct each year’s programme. Past directors have included artist Anish Kapoor, musician Brian Eno, Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi, actress Vanessa Redgrave and author Michael Rosen.
Sadler’s Wells has announced highlights of next year’s programme. 2013 will be the 15th anniversary of the London venue’s current building, and will be marked by several special events.
