The UK Open 2014

Michael Malitowski and Joanna Leunis (pictured), who dance for England, triumphed for an eighth time at the UK Open Professional Latin Championship last week on Thursday, January 23, pipping the US’s Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruychenko to the post in the battle of the Latin giants.

The 61st International Championships

At the grand finals of the 61st International Championships on October 3, there were new winners, returning champions and a smattering of Strictly stars in the audience.

The Carl Alan Awards

The 2013 Carl Alan Awards, organised by Michael Stylianos and Lorna Lee, were held at the Copthorne Hotel Effingham Park on September 20. The event was hosted by Strictly professionals Karen Hardy and Ian Waite, while Olympic ice dance champion Jayne Torvill presented the awards.
