Free to Dance at Glastonbury

Having danced his way through the London Marathon, teacher Ben Hammond is taking on the sun, rain and inevitable mud of the Glastonbury Festival, to raise awareness about oppression in Burma.

UPDATED: First ever to dance London Marathon

Update: Ben finished his marathon at 6.37pm, making eight hours and fifty minutes of dancing. When 33-year-old teacher Ben Hammond (pictured) lines up for the world’s greatest running race this Sunday, April 17, he’ll be setting out to achieve something extraordinary: becoming the first ever person to dance the entire London Marathon. 

Hundreds help launch world record bid with silent disco

Two hundred revellers took to the streets of London yesterday for a silent disco to help publicly launch Free to Dance, a fund- and awareness-raising campaign for new charity LearnBurma.
