The World Cup might be over, but there is still much Brazilian fun to be had in the UK this month. Brazilica 2014 is alive and kicking and this Friday, July 18, the popular Carnival Queen competition will heat up Liverpool’s Alma de Cuba Bar on Seel Street from 9pm.
The UK’s biggest festival of Brazilian culture, Brazilica, has returned to Liverpool for the third year, running until July 20. This year’s festival will last even longer than previous celebrations, with a week-long programme of events at various city venues warming Liverpool up for the main carnival and parade day on Saturday, July 20.
