Christopher Wheeldon’s Aeternum (pictured) won the Olivier award for best new dance production, announced at a ceremony held last night. Created for The Royal Ballet, the work starred Marianela Nuñez, who won the award for outstanding achievement in dance for her work in Aeternum, Diana and Actaeon and Viscera, all with The Royal Ballet.
Nominations have been announced for this year’s Olivier awards, presented by the Society of London Theatre and supported by Mastercard.
Open auditions for the London revival of the stage musical A Chorus Line will commence on Monday, October 1 from 10am to 6pm at the London Palladium (main entrance on Argyll Street), with registration from 9am to 12noon.
