Swing balls across the UK with Swing Patrol

Posted on September 1, 2014

Swing Patrol, the London-based swing dance group, is launching a series of swing balls across the UK, created in collaboration with local swing and lindy hop groups.

The balls build on a surge of media interest in Swing Patrol after founder Scott Cupit’s appearance on the BBC One programme Dragons’ Den. Scott will be the Master of Ceremonies at the events, which include a taster lesson at the beginning, a floor show and even a competition. These will be friendly evenings, open to all dancers from beginners to lindy stars: everyone is welcome!

The first ball will be held in Belfast on September 5, followed by events in Leicester, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh, Reading and Plymouth. See www.swingpatrol.co.uk for dates and details.
