Summer school in Slovakia

Riverpark Dance School will hold two-week summer camps in Bratislava, Slovakia in July and August this year.

The dance training package includes 60 dance lessons, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop and yoga, with an international team of teachers. The school is based at the River Park Complex, modern studios right on the bank of the Danube. Alongside the dance classes, there is an extensive social programme, with trips in and outside Bratislava, dance parties and entertainment. Prices start at 720€, rising to 950€ for an all-inclusive package covering accommodation and food.

Zoe Anderson

Zoë was born in Edinburgh, and saw her first dance performances at the Festival there. She is the dance critic of The Independent, and has also written for The Independent on Sunday, The Scotsman and Dancing Times. In 2002, she received her doctorate from the University of York for a thesis on “Nationhood and epic romance: Ariosto, Sidney, Spenser”. She is the author of The Royal Ballet: 75 Years and The Ballet Lover’s Companion.
