“Strictly Come Dancing”: Broadway Week

Posted on October 13, 2011

This week, “Strictly Come Dancing” returns with the first of its themed weekends, “Broadway Week”. The couples will dance to Broadway classics and will evoke the spirit of the stage in their glitzy costumes and elaborate make-up.

To get in the Broadway mood the celebrity contestants took to the stage in costume, with Russell Grant and Holly Valance as cancan dancers, Jason Donovan reprising his role as Joseph from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Anita Dobson and Lulu getting their skates on in Starlight Express, Nancy Dell’Olio as Mary Poppins along with Rory Bremner as chimney sweep Bert, Chelsee Healey as Glenda from Wicked and Alex Jones and Audley Harrison as a pantomime cow.
