Star Championships

Posted on August 1, 2011

On Sunday, January 29, 2012 the Ballroom Dancers’ Federation (BDF) will be holding the first Star Championships for Juveniles, Juniors, Youths and Seniors I, II and III at the Tower Ballroom, Birmingham. In a new style of competition, there will be no sub-division of ages and no supporting competitions, just the 11 Star Championships plus two Amateur Ballroom and Latin American Challenge Trophies.

The last of the Dance Promoters’ Association and Ballroom Dancers’ Federation National League majors for the 2011-12 season, all of the championships carry double points towards the rankings.

With 11 world-class adjudicators, 11 major championship titles and two events for Amateurs, this competition is suitable for all ages and abilities. Entries can be made online by emailing completed forms to pro@ballroomdancersfederation.com. The closing date for entries is January 21, 2012. A full timetable will be advertised on the BDF website a few days prior to the event.

Full details of this competition can be found on the BDF website at www.ballroomdancersfederation.com
