Snow Queen in summer

Posted on July 14, 2011

South Coast Ballet brings its new production of The Snow Queen to the Lighthouse, Poole from July 14–16.

The Dorset-based youth ballet company has turned Hans Christian Andersen’s frosty tale into a three-act ballet. The production mixes contemporary and traditional classical music, with scenes including an Arabian palace, a Spanish town square and, of course, the Snow Queen’s icy kingdom.

Tickets cost £10, or £5 for children and senior citizens, and are available from the Lighthouse box office on 0844 406 8666 or online at www.lighthousepoole.co.uk.
