Salsa in Jersey

Posted on August 21, 2012

Salsa Danza will hold a weekender in Jersey from October 5 to 9. Weekender dancers will stay at the award-winning Westhill Country Hotel, just outside the islands’ main town, St Helier. It has five acres of gardens, two outdoor heated swimming pools and a hot tub spa. The weekender offers three nights of half board, workshops during the day and three salsa party nights.

This year’s lineup includes Lee Hunter, founder of Absolute Salsa, the Venezuelan teacher, DJ and UK salsa champion Henry Vina, tango specialists Adam and Gisele Parnell and Judith Medina, expert in Cuban salsa and rueda. Prices start from £185. You can also book a weekend pass, covering just the salsa events. For more information, see www.salsajersey.com or call 01534 634 104.
