Salsa events

On September 9–12, Salsa Fiesta comes to Norfolk’s Mundesley Holiday Park. Dance styles will include Cuban salsa, rueda de casino, pilon, mozambique, rumba, cha cha cha, Afrocuban, body movement, bachata, reggaeton, kizomba, jazz and Zumba. October 21–24 sees the first Salsa Weekender in St Helier, Jersey. Taking place at the Metropole Hotel, close to both the beach and St Helier town centre, participants can enjoy a holiday as well as dancing and partying. Thirty hours of workshops will include “zero to hero” salsa, kizomba, rueda de casino, mambo, cha cha cha and lambada. Instructors include Sika Tro (Studio Afro Latino – France), Find the Rhythm‘s Lee Knights, Rohan Brown and more. The current price is £190 based on two sharing, including half-board and a full weekend pass. Prices increase on September 1. Flights to Jersey from the UK are approximately £66-85 return.
