Royal Danish Ballet dancers on tour

Posted on October 21, 2014

napoli-susannePrincipals and soloists from the Royal Danish Ballet will appear at London’s Peacock Theatre on January 9 and 10, 2015. This is part of a Bournonville Celebration tour, which will also visit the Joyce Theater in New York from January 13 to 18. It’s ten years since the Royal Danish Ballet visited London.

The programme will include the pas de sept from A Folk Tale, the Jockey Dance from From Siberia to Moscow, dances from the second act of La Sylphide, the pas de trois from Le Conservatoire and the wonderful third act celebrations from Napoli.

Twelve dancers will perform on the tour: Amy Watson, Diana Cuni, Susanne Grinder, Femke Slot, Kizzy Matiakis, Marcin Kupinski, Gregory Dean, Ulrik Birkkjær, Andreas Kaas and Sebastian Haynes.

Tickets are now on sale from www.sadlerswells.com.
