Riverdance 25 Anniversary Show Riverdance Lead Couple

The full gala performance of Riverdance: The New 25th Anniversary Show will be available to stream exclusively at The broadcast premieres at 7.30pm on St Patrick’s Day, March 17, and tickets will be available to purchase from the website throughout March.

Filmed on its anniversary – February 9, 2020 – in the venue where it premiered in 1995, Dublin’s 3Arena, this streaming event will make the gala performance available to fans in their own home for the first time ahead of the rescheduled UK tour, which will see the show visit 27 venues from August 27, 2021.

Riverdance: The New 25th Anniversary Show is a reinvention of the family favourite, celebrated the world over for its Grammy Award-winning music and the energy and passion of its Irish and international dance. Composer Bill Whelan has rerecorded his soundtrack while producer Moya Doherty and director John McColgan have reimagined the show with innovative lighting, projection, stage and costume designs.  Many of the cast featured in the gala performance weren’t even born in 1995.
