ReMade is a music and dance weekend that allows dancers to explore new ways of working, network with other young artists, and gives them the opportunity to develop choreographic skills. Mark Bowden, Rambert Dance Company’s music fellow, will lead the project, working alongside an experienced Rambert animateur.
Rambert are looking for individual dancers and choreographers who are interested in the collaboration between dance and music. Young musicians from London Sinfonietta Academy alumni will be taking part in the weekend, and this is a great opportunity to work alongside them. Dancers should be aged 17 and over and should be in, or have completed, full-time training.
ReMade takes place on March 31 and April 1, 2012, from 10am to 4pm, and will be held at Rambert Dance Company’s headquarters at 94 Chiswick High Road, London W4 1SH. The cost for the weekend is £40. To book a place, or for more information, contact Rambert’s learning and participation team on 020 8630 0615 or email learning@rambert.org.uk. The closing date for booking is Friday, March 16.
