June 17

OPEN AUDITIONS Disney Theatrical Group will hold open auditions, for male dancers for Newsies, at Pineapple Dance Studios, Langley Street, London WC2H, with registration at either 9.15am or 1.15pm. For further information on casting, contact Jill Green Casting.

URBAN DANCE The music of Monteverdi meets urban dance in Early Opera Company’s collaboration with Avant Garde Dance, featuring new contemporary choreography inspired by the 16th-century composer. Performances will take place at 6.30pm and 8.30pm, at the Village Underground, London. For more information or to book, click here

June 19

STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL The Duchess of Cornwall, president of the National Osteoporosis Society, will attend a special gala performance of Strictly Confidential, at the New Theatre in Oxford, which will raise funds for the charity. 

June 21

LATIN AND BALLROOM Izabela’s Summer Dance Party in aid of Shooting Star Chase Children’s Hospice will take place at KWC, 25 Old London Road, Kingston, with ballroom and Latin music, dance cabaret and charity raffle. Doors open at 7pm. Price: £20 until June 14, £25 after. Contact Izabela for more information and to book. 

June 24

LINDY HOP London Swing Dance Society will be at London Wonderground, Southbank, in the atmospheric Spiegeltent. There will be lindy hop classes for beginner and intermediate dancers, and live music to the South London Jazz Orchestra. Click here for more information.
