New York City Ballet’s digital autumn season runs from September 28 until October 31. More than 25 ballets from the repertory will be featured over six programmes, which will air each Tuesday night and bi-weekly on Saturday afternoons, in family-friendly matinees. The final week of the season will feature a festival of new choreography with five original ballets, filmed in various locations on the campus of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and throughout New York City, by choreographers Sidra Bell, Andrea Miller, Justin Peck, Jamar Roberts, and Pam Tanowitz.
In addition to the digital performances, NYCB will also release new episodes of City Ballet The Podcast and will offer interactive educational workshops virtually: Ballet Essentials for teens and adults; Ballet Breaks for children from three to eight; and Access Workshops for children and adults with disabilities, as well as Signature Steps, a ballet class for intermediate to advanced level students.
