Meet the Scene Ball

Posted on February 9, 2012

If you’re new to the swing scene, this Saturday, February 11, would be a good time to introduce yourself. Swing Patrol’s Meet the Scene Ball at Shoreditch Town Hall (380 Old Street, EC1V 9LT) is an event specifically tailored for new dancers and those attending their first big swing event.

Doors open at 7.30pm and a short lesson for beginners will break the ice at 7.45pm. The night’s music will be provided by swing band the Shirt Tail Stompers and dancers are encouraged to dust down their favourite vintage outfits for the night, with a colour-coding system for Swing Patrol students.

Tickets cost £22.50. To buy them or for more information on the ball and the after-party, follow this link.

Nicola Rayner was editor of Dance Today from 2010 to 2015.
