There’s a strong dance strand in this year’s The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, with both dancing authors and books about dance.
On October 8, Craig Revel Horwood, the choreographer, director and judge on Strictly Come Dancing, will be telling Tales from the Dance Floor, discussing his new book about his life and times on stage. It promises to be a funny and revealing interview, with some sensational stories.
Ballet star Carlos Acosta will discuss his life in dance and his debut novel Pig’s Foot, about a young Havana boy’s search for the truth among his island’s hidden treasures, while author Lucy Moore will discuss her biography of Vaslav Nijinsky. The festival runs from October 4 to 13. See www.cheltenhamfestivals.com for more information, or call the box office on 0844 880 8094.
