Royal Danish Ballet star Alban Lendorf will appear with the Peter Schaufuss Ballet in A Tchaikovsky Trilogy at the London Coliseum this summer. The Trilogy is Schaufuss’ own staging of Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker to reflect Tchaikovsky’s own life and sexuality.
Lendorf, who made his UK debut as Mercutio in the Peter Schaufuss Ballet’s staging of Romeo and Juliet last summer, will dance every performance of Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty during the week-long run, from July 23 to 28. The company will dance a different ballet on each night of the season, with the entire trilogy performed from 1pm on Saturday, July 28. July 25 will be a charity gala performance in aid of The Dancer for Cancer Trust. See eno.org or call 07990 771790 for tickets.
