The UK’s most famous street dance troupe surprised shoppers at Old Spitalfields Market last night, March 21, with a pop-up performance to mark the launch of their new class Diversity Street Dance in partnership with Fitness First on March 25.
After an introduction from head choreographer of Diversity and Got To Dance judge Ashley Banjo, hundreds of Londoners gathered in the cold to watch the routine set against an audio-reactive light show, which streamed images and live tweets directly on to a wall of “AdCubes”.
Ashley said: “Great being down at Old Spitalfields Market to perform for Fitness First to launch our Diversity Street Dance class. It was awesome to be part of such a unique event. Now get down to Fitness First and try the class.”
Diversity Street Dance fuses energetic street dance moves with traditional fitness, taking members through a high-powered routine set against a soundtrack of fun-filled, fast tempo music.
