Latidos, held at the award-winning venue Shaka Zulu in Camden this Sunday, is a celebration of Latin American music, dance, food and drink.
Running from 2.30pm on Sunday, July 29, the event features local and international musicians and dancers, with family activities, workshops and refreshment. The event draws on the rhythms of Bolivia, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Cuba – and is held on Colombian Independence day! In honour of the Olympics, guests will include Latin American athletes.
Shaka Zulu is located in Stables Market, off Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8AB. Tickets cost from £8 for general entrance, with children under 12 going free. Ten per cent of profits will go to organisations fighting poverty and promoting human rights. To buy tickets, see www.expressarte.org.uk.
