I am delighted to introduce three new members of staff to readers of Dancing Times this month. Joining as production editor (and also for sister magazine Dance Today) is Simon Oliver, who has worked with skill and flair on a wide range of consumer magazine titles for a number of years. From June 1, we welcome Zoë Anderson as editorial assistant. Zoë is well known to our readers, having written many reviews and articles for the magazine.
She will continue to contribute as dance critic of The Independent, and will also be working in the newly created postition of editorial assistant on Dance Today. Already in place is our new financial controller, Tracey Geaves, who joins us from the accountancy firm, The Briars Group, following a varied career in finance and retail. As we herald these new members of the team, we also bid farewell to temporary financial controller, Danny Wells, and to freelance designer, Matt Askew, with gratitude. Both have done sterling work for us during the past six months, and we wish them every success for the future. In this June issue you will find the lavish array of news and views that each month has made Dancing Times indispensible for nearly 100 years. Happy reading!
