Javier Latorre

Posted on October 7, 2010

Famous flamenco maestro Javier Latorre will be teaching Escuela de Baile’s intensive Christmas course at Sadler’s Wells between December 27 and 31 this year. One of the greats of our day, you’ll find that many famous dancers list him as both teacher and stylistic influence in their CVs. Principal Nuria Garcia explains: “He’s probably one of the best choreographers that Spain has ever produced. He has an incredibly creative mind and is also wonderful teacher. That’s why he has worked with such prestigious names, such as Eva Yerbabuena.” For a taster, visit the school’s showcase with special guests from Seville on November 21 or their Christmas show on December 19.
