finale-2013Got To Dance winner Lukas McFarlane will join Capezio’s interactive window display on Saturday, October 18 to officially launch Dance Proms 2014.

Dance Proms is an annual international youth dance showcase bringing together over 400 dance students at the Royal Albert Hall on November 2.

To launch the event, Dance Proms performers from the Susan Robinson School of Ballet in Surrey, Arts Ed Youth Dance Company in Chiswick and the Centre – Performing Arts College in Kent will become live dancing mannequins at Caperzio’s store on Endell Street this Saturday.

Lukas McFarlane said: “I’m looking forward to meeting the students who will be performing this year, and joining in the dancing windows show. I can’t wait to watch people’s reactions when they see live dancing mannequins! It’s going to a lot of fun – don’t miss it!”

Lukas and the students will bring the shop window to life with ballet, contemporary and neo-classical routines throughout the day, as they model Capezio’s wide-ranging dancewear. The performances will offer a glimpse of some of the dance styles being performed at Dance Proms.

Customers are invited to join the celebrations and take advantage of a special in-store discount of 15 per cent off all purchases on the day.
