Get a taste of dance in Leeds

Posted on November 26, 2010

In December, Leeds Metropolitan University is offering two taster sessions to anyone interested in a degree in Dance and Performing Arts.

The university will showcase its two new undergraduate programmes, taught by industry professionals in the shiny new studios of Northern Ballet and Phoenix Dance Theatre’s new centre for dance at Quarry Hill, Leeds. Students, teachers, parents and friends can meet the Leeds Metropolitan dance team on Monday, December 6, in a “have a go” session that will show how the team works, with a free professional class followed by a workshop led by Rachel Krische, with the chance to ask questions and visit the university’s facilities. On Friday, December 10, there will be a taster day for the Performing Arts degree at Leeds Metropolitan.

To book your place on either taster session, and for further details, email aetmarketing@leedsmet.ac.uk
