Generation XYZ

Posted on August 8, 2011

East London Dance is looking for an artistic director for their new project Generation XYZ. This new dance performance company for older East Londoners will be launched in September 2011.

The idea is that company members will become advocates and role models to lead and inspire other older people to engage in physical activity, develop their creativity and reduce isolation through social interaction. Generation XYZ will tour community venues, such as residential homes, day care centres and schools, where they will perform and lead dance workshops. They will also be available to perform at high profile events throughout 2012.
