The gala is presented by Sergei Danilian of Ardani Artists.

Osipova and Watson will dance the world premiere of Zeitgeist, by Royal Ballet choreographer Alastair Marriott. Set to the violin concerto by Philip Glass, it will also include Royal Ballet dancers Donald Thom, Marcelino Sambé and Tomas Mock. Zeitgeist will also feature in the Solo for Two project, which tours to the US and Russia.

Tristesse was choreographed by Marcelo Gomes, who dances the work with Matvienko, De Luz and Vogel. Created for Kings of the Dance in 2014, the work was inspired by French poet Paul Éluard, and will be danced to Chopin études.

The evening ends with Arthur Pita’s Facada, danced by Osipova and Vasiliev.

Tickets for the gala are now on sale.
