Our cover star is English National Ballet’s Erina Takahashi (pictured with Dmitri Gruzdyev in Giselle by Daria Klimentová), who talks to Gerald Dowler about coming to the UK, career choices and roles.

The Balletboyz, Michael Nunn and William Trevitt, talk to Ian Palmer about their young company The Talent, while Rosemary Harden explains how Margot Fonteyn helped to promote British fashion. Reports from overseas include Margaret Willis at the Havana Festival of Ballet and Graham Watts from Athens, where ballet offers a counterpoint to the current economic crisis. As Ailey 2, the younger company of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, begins its first ever UK tour, we speak to some of its dancers. See our gallery for more pictures of this young company in action.  Plus all our regular reviews and reports.
