Colombian world salsa champions tour London

Fresh from their tour of Spain, five times world salsa champions, Jhon Vasquez and Yudi Aguilar (pictured below), from Cali, Colombia, are doing a series of shows in London this week.

Calenian salsa is characterised by its beautifully choreographed and incredibly fast and intricate footwork. Catch Jhon and Yudi performing at Fiesta Havana in Fulham Broadway on March 15 at El Grande! (the largest salsa night in the UK) at Club Colosseum in Vauxhall on March 18 or at the new Colombian night in New Cross, Bedford on March 21.

Nicola Rayner was editor of Dance Today from 2010 to 2015. She has written for a number of publications including The Guardian, The Independent and Time Out Buenos Aires, where she cut her teeth as a dance journalist working on the tango section.
