Now in its seventh year, Cloud Dance Festival returns this month, with a new programme of contemporary ballet and dance. Showtime, the first Cloud Dance Festival to be funded by Arts Council England, will be held at London’s Bernie Grant Arts Centre from November 15 to 17.
The lineup will include John Ross, one of the New Adventures Choreographer Award winners, Rambert dancer Mbuelelo Ndabeni, Johnny Autin of 2Faced Dance, Liverpool-based company Taciturn and Shobana Jeyasingh Company dancer Avatâra Ayuso.
During the three days of Showtime, Cloud Dance Festival will also launch a programme of professional development workshops for emerging dance writers, photographers and videographers, including sessions with photographer Chris Nash and Henry St Clair, artistic director of Crystal Ballet.
