Christmas dance bonanza at Sadler’s Wells
Posted on December 20, 2012
Celebrate Christmas with a touch of flamenco or the Argentine tango at Sadler’s Wells over the festive period. Christmas flamenco courses run between December 27 and 31, catering from everyone from complete beginners to professionals.
Bata de Cola, technique, bulerías, sevillanas and castanets will be covered by top teachers, including the world-famous star
Rafaela Carrasco, who will be teaching intermediate-level dancers and advanced choreography. All students will study flamenco dance technique, as well as choreography, and the beginners’ class is a great opportunity to learn sevillanas.
The course will run for five days, for one and a half hours a day. For more see
here.
Raquel Greenberg, who has recently moved to London from Buenos Aires, will lead end-of-year Tango Boosters from December 26 to 30. She also has slots for private lessons during the same week. Prices for the Tango Boosters range from £25 to £70 with £5 practicas. Book in advance with
