phoenix-photo-tim-williamsPhoenix Dance Theatre will host a Choreographers and Composers Lab in July 2015. Held in the company’s state-of-the-art dance centre in Leeds, the two-week intensive course is designed for professional choreographers and composers at an early stage of their careers.

Led by Phoenix’s artistic director and choreographer Sharon Watson and independent music director and composer Ken Hesketh, the project focuses on research, experimentation and composition, with daily creative periods, creative tasks, workshops and lectures with visiting artists and the chance to develop collaborative approaches in a safe yet challenging environment.

For more information, and to download the application form, see The deadline for applications is Monday, February 16.
