Choco Tango Festival

Posted on October 3, 2011

In a mouthwatering combination of chocolate and the Argentine tango, the sixth Choco Tango Festival, dubbed the sweetest festival in Europe, will take place from October 6 to 9.

The festival will take place in Perugia, Italy, in a variety of locations including the first hotel in the world dedicated to chocolate, the Etruscan Chocohotel. In between classes, hot chocolate, pralines and other cocoa delicacies will tempt hungry tangueros.

The professional dancers involved include Mario Consiglieri and Anabella Diaz-Hojman, Luciano Bastos and Aurora Lubiz, Graciela Gonzalez and Los Guardiola. The festival DJs will be La Ros, Mauro Berardi, Punto y Branca, Raul Navalpotro, Robby da Reggio and Supersabino

Nicola Rayner was editor of Dance Today from 2010 to 2015.
