The Sound of Summer competition, part of Change4Life with Disney’s 10 Minute Shake Up campaign, invites children to get moving by having a go at learning a brand new dance, specially created by TV dance judge and choreographer Lizzie Gough (pictured).
Set to American rock band R5’s single “Loud” (which was donated by the band to Change4Life earlier in the summer), dancing along will get kids moving and having fun.
The ten-minute tutorial is available to view on the Change4Life YouTube channel at and learning the routine is a great way to keep the kids busy during the long days of the summer holidays.
Once they have learned the routine, parents or guardians can upload their child’s dance to the Change4Life Facebook page to enter the Sound of Summer competition. The winning entry will get a half-day dance lesson with Lizzie Gough in a London studio for five friends, with an overnight stay in a London hotel and transport there and back, plus expenses. Ten runners-up will also win R5 fitness-related merchandise.
