Thomas Edur and Agnes Oaks have been awarded CBEs.
Both born and trained in Estonia, they were English National Ballet’s much-loved star couple for two decades, prized for the elegance and classicism of their dancing. Oaks retired from the stage in 2009. Edur is now director of the Estonian Ballet. They have a daughter, Elizabeth, born on January 1, 2010.
They received their CBEs from Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace on October 20. Congratulations to them both.
